Alicia Robinson\u2019s role as a fall 2025 Every Learner Everywhere intern is her latest step toward a career connecting people to high-quality education and other opportunities they need for successful and fulfilling lives.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m the type of person who has to know what I\u2019m going to do,\u201d says Robinson, a junior at Clark Atlanta University in Georgia. \u201cThere\u2019s a lot I want to do, and it\u2019s all going to impact the community.\u201d<\/p>\n

The daughter of pastors, Robinson plans to one day start a nonprofit organization in Atlanta that partners with churches to focus on human rights. Together, they would help people find assistance in education, legal aid, housing, job and food security, and immigration.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was praying on what I wanted to do,\u201d Robinson says, \u201cand this just kind of came to me as a way to be able to combine all of it together while still serving the community and being under the church and my faith.\u201d<\/p>\n

Robinson tailors each of her academic and professional moves to fit that long-term goal.<\/p>\n

AI for education access<\/h2>\n

As one of five fall 2025 Every Learner digital learning interns<\/a>, Robinson now is studying how artificial intelligence can make education more accessible.<\/p>\n

She applied for the role after learning about it from a mentor, who recognized it as the perfect opportunity for someone who regularly uses AI and is driven to help level the playing field in education. Robinson relies on AI to help her complete educational and professional tasks such as planning and editing.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just want to educate people on the best ways to use AI efficiently in education and in life,\u201d Robinson says, \u201cincluding marginalized communities who may not know how to use AI in their day-to-day lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

Robinson and her colleagues began their internship by examining the ways educators and students currently are employing AI\u2014and discussing the broad range of opinions about AI\u2019s use to complete classwork. The group\u2019s work will contribute to efforts to identify ways that AI can make education more readily available to all students.<\/p>\n
