ASU Remote 2022: Caring for the Whole Student

In the 2020-2021 academic year, over two-thirds of students considered leaving school due to emotional stress and almost a third of students linked challenges with their emotional and mental well-being to a longstanding decline in their academic performance. This session provides an overview of the pressures facing today’s students and what faculty and institutions can do to support them.

Their narratives highlight successes as well as bumps in the road as they implemented digital learning tools into their teaching.
