Teaching Effectively with Adaptive Courseware
Adaptive tools provide powerful opportunities to connect with students on their individualized learning pathways. But equally critical are the ways in which the instructor adapts to and incorporates these technologies. This teaching matters session will focus on the course design choices and pedagogical practices that accompany the effective implementation of adaptive courseware. The panelists will discuss their experiences with onboarding students, aligning courseware and course content, and examining the impacts of courseware and associated interventions on student learning and outcomes.
