Leveraging Artificial Intelligence, Data, and Technology in Online Education Leadership

In an age defined by rapid technological evolution, higher education leaders find themselves at the forefront of navigating the complex interplay between the digital landscape, artificial intelligence, and online education. This workshop is crafted to empower leaders with the knowledge and strategic ability needed to steer their institutions through the challenges and opportunities presented by the digital era.

Workshop goals

● Understand the role of artificial intelligence, data, and technology in making informed decisions for online education leaders;

● Develop a strategic vision for integrating digital tools and technology into their institution in alignment with the broader educational goals; and

● Establish a network of higher education leaders for ongoing collaboration and mutual support in the continuously evolving online education landscape.

This event was part of the Maryland Online Leadership Institute (MOLLI) Expert Insights Workshop Series Feb 21, 2024. It is a follow-up to the January webinar Leading and Navigating the Digital Landscape, Artificial Intelligence, and Online Education.

In this new resource, 12 instructors from a variety of two-year and four-year institutions share their experiences adopting digital learning tools to promote equity and improve learning outcomes for historically marginalized and under-resourced students. Their narratives highlight successes as well as bumps in the road as they implemented digital learning tools into their teaching.
